On November 27, 2007, the body of Tinker Air Force Base official Denise F. Stice was discovered at approximately 9:30 a.m. on the south side of Lake Overholser in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma.  Around the same time her body was found, Stice’s 2002 Chevrolet Monte Carlo was spotted at the Bali Apartments, 1120 N. Tela Dr., Oklahoma City. Early that morning, a witness saw a stocky, white man about 5’8″ getting out of the car. The man was wearing a white button-down dress shirt, black slacks, and cowboy boots. In 2010, Denise’s husband, Gerald Donald Stice, was named a strong person of interest in her murder.  Anyone with information about Denise’s murder should contact the Oklahoma City Police Department Cold Case Unit at 405-297-1127 or Oklahoma City Crime Stoppers at 405-235-7300. A life cut short.

Denise’s life was tragically cut short by a man who had a history of attacking women. What he took away were some of life’s most precious moments: the smell of freshly cut grass, watching a sunset, and feeling the wind against her cheek. Denise must have justice, and her family deserves closure.  If you have any information about her murder, please call Oklahoma City Crime Stoppers at 405-235-7300 or the Homicide Tip Line at 405-297-1200.
